chicken caesar pita pizza's


oh snap jerad and i saw this on Paula Dean.
uhmmm had to make it because....she is awesommmeeeee.

pita bread
romaine lettuce, chopped
fontina cheese, grated
olive oil
roma tomatoes, cubed

hot sauce, 1 tsp
olive oil, 1/2 cup
worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp
dijon mustard, 1-2 tbs
minced garlic, 1-2 cloves
balsamic vinegar, 1 tbs
lemon

chicken breast, cut in strips and pan sauteed with some olive oil and garlic

brush pitas with light olive oil, and sprinkle with the fontina cheese, enough to cover the pita. bake in oven at 350 until cheese is melted and pita edges crispy.

for dressing, mix olive oil, dijon, worcestershire, minced garlic, and balsamic.

to make the salad chop the romaine lettuce in small to med chunks, add cubed tomatoes, and toss dressing in.

put the salad mix on top of the pita when it comes out of the oven, and top with chicken peices. give a little lemon squeeze over the topppppp and stuff yo faceeee

Piroshki'ssssss


Gmaaasssss piroshki'ssss

3 loaves Rhodes frozen bread
follow thawing directions. when raised, cut each loaf into 6 equal pieces. knead and flatten into circles about 6" across.

Filling:
1 1/3 - 1 1/2 lb hamburger + 1/2 - 2/3 lb pork sausage
1/2 onion chopped small

fry burger and onion together, drain well
season to taste with taco seasoning
when cool add 12-16 oz shredded cheese...i used mexi mix and pepperjack :)

fill each roll with hamburger mix, about 1/3 cup each
pull edges of bread around filling and seal by pinching together

place on cookie sheet. follow baking instructions on Rhodes bread bag. about 350 for 25-30 mins. better if a little under baked. top with butter when it comes out of the oven

This was blog was definitely Jerad's idea, but i think its an awesome one.
i do not by any means think i am a chef, nor have i had any schooling for cooking, but i definitely love to eat good food, and feed the ones i love good food, but more than anything i cook because i love it, and i love the smile on my mans face when i make something that turned out to be pretty amazing :)
